March: Morrison was cast in Morgan and Wong’s latest project, THE WONDER CABINET. Morrison played Dr. Gordon Wayne in this series about a trio who are hired to investigate biological anomalies. Sadly, in May we learned this project was not picked up.
March 1: Morrison added a voice-over for an episode of Ted Danson’s BECKER. He played a radio personality.
March 13, 16 and 20: ABILENE, James Morrison’s latest film, screened at the South by Southwest Film Conference and Festival ‘99. For more info go to: Abilene
March 18: At 9:03 p.m. James Morrison and wife Riad Galayini greeted the newest member to their family, Seamus (pronounced "Shaymus") Morrison. The healthy baby boy weighed in at 6 pound 12 ounces.
March 26: Morrison appeared in an episode of NASH BRIDGES. In the episode, Morrison played the head of a computer company.
May 18: SHADOW OF DOUBT was released in the USA on videotape.
June 12: Morrison put in a personal appearance at AgamenCon III in Burbank, California. He talked with both S:AAB fans and PREY fans at their respective tables.
June 18: ABILENE screened at the Director’s Guild.
September 14 - October 3: Morrison appears in Sam Shepard’s play, FOOL FOR LOVE, to be directed by Emily Mann at the McCarter Theatre in Princeton, New Jersey. He plays the lead character, Eddie. Morrison has appeared in another Sam Shepard play, CURSE OF THE STARVING CLASS. For more info go to: Curse of the Starving Class
